New Protoss Units in Starcraft 2

Below, you will find a list of the new Protoss units in Starcraft 2, along with the strengths and weaknesses of each unit. While I cannot cover every single strategy in a single article, you will have a good idea of how to use all of the new Protoss units in Starcraft 2 by the time you finish reading. With that said, on with the list!
Sentry
The Sentry is a ranged unit which can hit both ground and air units. It has two very important abilities: Force Field and Guardian Shield. Force Field can be used to split the enemy troops and Guardian Shield is a big defensive boost for your army when going against ranged units.
Stalker
The Stalker is a lot like the Dragoon from Starcraft 2. It is decent but not great versus ground units and strong versus air units. The Stalker has a new ability, Blink, which allows it to warp across the screen (even up or down cliffs) every 10 seconds. This gives the Stalker much greater mobility than the Dragoon had.
Immortal
The Immortal is another one of the new Protoss units in Starcraft 2. The Immortal only takes 10 damage per hit max (when its shields are up) and does a great deal of bonus damage to armored units. It is the Protoss' Siege Tank counter and should be used whenever the enemy is making heavy use of large ground units.
Colossus
The Colossus is the replacement for the Reaver from the original Starcraft. The Colossus deals splash damage over a generous area and is very effective versus light ground units like Marines, Zerglings, Zealots, and Hydralisks. It is not effective versus heavy ground units or air units.
Warp Prism
The Warp Prism is an air unit which can carry and drop off ground units. Additionally, it can go into "Phase mode", at which point you can use your Warp Gates to warp units to the Warp Prism's area of effect.
Phoenix
The Phoenix is a new air unit that has a very unusual features. First of all, it can only attack other air units. Also, it does very little damage versus armored units, but deals substantial damage to light units. As a result, it is only particularly effective versus Mutalisks and Banshees.
Additionally, the Phoenix has an ability, Graviton Beam, which allows it to pick up ground units. Other Phoenix can then attack the targeted ground unit which has been lifted off the ground. This ability combined with its high flying speed makes it great for harassing enemy workers.
Void Ray
The Void Ray is an air unit unlike any Protoss air unit from the original Starcraft. The Void Ray is the balanced, mid-supply cost (3 supplies in this case) air unit the Protoss were missing from the original Starcraft.
Its beam charges up the longer it sits on the same target, and ultimately becomes a wrecking machine when fully charged. As a result, it is best to use the Void Ray to sneak in the side of an enemy's base and allow it to charge up off of the enemy's buildings. By the time the enemy responds, the Void Ray will be charged and ready to fight.
Mothership
The Mothership is the replacement for the Arbiter of the original Starcraft. Its Mass Recall and Vortex ability work much like the Arbiter's Mass Recall and Statis Field, respectively (the Mothership's abilities cover a larger area). The major difference between the two is that the Mothership is larger, more expensive, and harder to produce. You can also only build one Mothership.
