Zanzibar - The Jewel of the Indian Ocean

Zanzibar comprises two islands, Unguja and Pemba which (also known as Zanzibar Island) and 50 small islands. Unguja Iceland is the most developed of the two islands and the majority of the population of Zanzibar.

Two main reasons to visit Zanzibar is the beautiful beaches and the culture and history of the rare old city operation - Stone Town. Stone Town is famous for its execution, a maze, such as roads and markets are well known. Stone Town is a world heritage site and thebe appointed as such has received some much needed attention.

Zanzibar beaches are known for their beautiful white sand and warm blue waters known. The islands are coral reefs full of marine limited. This, combined with excellent visibility make Zanzibar one of the most popular diving and snorkeling. For those of sharks, Zanzibar is nirvana, such as coral reefs provide many places in many species, including sharks, tiger sharks and lemon, whiteHammerhead sharks and whale sharks in the shark elusive.

Since Zanzibar is an island in the tropics is subject to some pretty extreme weather conditions. From July to October, the height decreases the humidity with a temperature somewhere around 25 degrees Celsius. It 's a bit of rain, but usually not long before the sun comes out in minutes. This is a quieter time in Zanzibar, so if you like peace and this is a perfect time of year.

November toMarch are peak months of the season, when the weather is hot and very humid and there is very little rain. The majority of the population is Islam and that is why the Muslim festival of Ramadan is strictly in December and January, and many restaurants and bars are closed during this period followed. The resort will remain open, so there is a lack of things to do.

April-June is the monsoon season in Zanzibar and battered up and down the coast with rain shower. In the same July to October the rainnot last all day and there are a lot of time in the day when the sun does not shine. Quite a few hotels and resorts are closed during this period, but those that remain open to this offer heavily discounted prices.
